Identify markets in the wood, steel and concrete industries where Concrete Lumber offers advantages and target those markets for aggressive growth. PRINCIPALS

Paul Bracegirdle Paul has forty years experience with material research and development. He is the founder and majority stockholder in Concrete Lumber Company and serves as Chief Executive Officer. He has worked with concrete, asphalt, composites, polymers and other construction materials and holds over twenty related patents. After developing a composite and HDPE decking system in the 1990's, he realized the substructure for decks made from treated wood was one cause of complaints for decking systems. He was determined to develop a better substructure for all decking systems and his research lead to Concrete Lumber. Concrete Lumber is superior to other building materials because of its strength, span, durability, economical cost and resistance to fire and termites without chemicals.  Paul graduated from Mercer College in Civil Engineering with further engineering studies at Villanova University. He is married with two children and two grandchildren.

Tom McEvoy Tom is the Senior VP and a stockholder of Concrete Lumber and a lifelong building material person. Most recently he served as President of High Concrete, one of the largest precast concrete companies in North America. While running High Concrete, he was elected Chairman of the Precast Concrete Institute and was President of Altus Group, a consortium of leading precast companies that developed and marketed a patented carbon fiber reinforcing material. Previous to his time with High Concrete, Tom  was president of USPL, a company that recycled plastic and converted it into lumber for a variety of uses, including decking. This is where Tom met Paul and saw the need for a better decking substructure, one of the Concrete Lumber markets. After graduating from Williams College, Tom spent over twenty years with Armstrong World Industries in a variety of general management and sales & marketing positions in North and South America, Asia and Europe. He has a MBA from Emory University and is married with two grown children.

 

Brian Betz Brian is the VP of Field Services for Concrete Lumber Company, both domestically and internationally. Brian is a stockholder at Concrete Lumber Company. With a strong background in manufacturing, sales and distribution in decking and building products, Brian has worked in the composite deck and planking industry for over fourteen years and the concrete industry for more than eight. As an ACI-Certified Technician, Brian has a strong background in residential and light commercial construction. His greatest passion is design and construction of exterior decks and large boardwalk projects using Concrete Lumber products. He has been on many developmental teams introducing new concepts and products to the building industry for almost two decades. He has a BS in Management from Susquehanna University and is married with four children.
